Married mother of 2 children - Chloe - 2 & Zander 10 weeks

Me and my hubby went to Gold Class cinema last night.  It was fantastic being pampered!  It was nice to spend time together without the kids.  It is our anniversary on the 17th July.  So we decided to spend a night together last night to celebrate 3 years since we said the big I do.  Anyway, it was a great night.  If anyone gets the chance to go to Gold Class cinemas, they should take ...

I’m feeling really positive at the moment - as a mum, wife and in my worklife.  I really think that the antidepressents my dr got me on have really helped.  I am much more patient with my children.  I don’t feel overwhelmed like I did before.  I still have my off days, but generally I am much better.  I really think it pays to get help if it warrants.  There is no point in feeling ...

I don’t generally like to talk about this much, because it can make me feel more down.  But yes I have and am suffering from postnatal depression and I thought that there might be others out there that have experienced this and can relate.

Depression runs in my family.  My mum, dad, sisters and grandma have all suffered from depression at some point - enought to need medication.  I had a difficult birth with my boy ...

Both my kids have colds at the moment.  They’re pretty happy most of the time, but as soon as the sun goes down, the noses start running and the coughing starts up.  Not getting much sleep at all at the moment.  I feel like I’m walking in a bit of a daze all the time.  Hope I get some sleep soon.

Had a really quiet day at work today and I felt so tired.  I really prefer to keep myself busy.  Tiredness tends to get the better of me when I don’t have enough to do.  It does give you the opportunity to catch up on all the work gossip though!  Everyone at work at the moment is having a quiet spell & so everyone is quite chatty with each other.  I’m sure before too long ...

My brother in-law got married on Saturday.  I just love weddings.  It makes me remember my own and kind of wish I could do it all over again - I really enjoyed my wedding day.

I’m so happy for my brother-in-law, as this is his 2nd marriage, and he got a little burnt last time round.  His new wife Gemma is really great for him and I know she will treat him really ...

Yay - I got pearls for Mother’s day, which I have been hinting at for ages.  I am very spoilt.  My daughter also made me a candle at childcare (which she actually wanted to keep herself).

My first couple of weeks working full-time have gone great - much better than I expected.   I’m really enjoying it and finding that I am a much happier person at the moment.  I’m more patient with my kids and enjoy the time I have with them more.  I’ve tried to be really organised so that things run smoothly and that has also gone quite well.  I thought I’d feel really guilty ...

This morning I went round to my sister’s house.  She is doing a beauty therapy course at the moment.  She said she noticed that I seemed a little stressed and so she had decided that she would give me a facial.  So I got a facial and lay there listening to some really relaxing music while my daughter did some painting and my son was sleeping.  It was really relaxing and refreshing.  I am so thankful ...

I have just got a full-time job!  But it’s a little scary as my little boy is only 12 weeks and I know I’m going to miss him and my 2-year old sooooooo much.  I know there are some people that would look down on me because I’m going to work full-time and be away from my children, but I know I’m doing the right thing.  We have just bought a house and need the ...
